Now that’s what I call a romantic comedy I should start by saying this is one of the worst theatrical experiences I’ve ever had the displeasure of sitting through. The lady next to me was talking throughout the entire movie, someone was kicking my seat, and someone brought their baby (which was crying the whole time). The ridiculousness of that situation is funnier than this awful, awful film. This is a bottom-of-the-barrel comedy. It’s so painfully unfunny and cringe-inducing that I almost walked out of the theater. (Which I’ve never done. I think it’s quite disrespectful to walk out of a theater, but this movie doesn’t deserve anyone’s respect. ) I’ll be hard-pressed to find a worse comedy in 2020. Tengo que aceptar que solo entré a ver ésta película por James Maslow, la curiosidad de ver cómo un actor y cantante de una ex boyband podía hacerlo, y más en una producción en parte mexicana. Sobre eso no hay mucho que decir ya que no sale más que en dos escenas. Sin embargo, aunque traté de ver lo mejor de la película me fue imposible, es un constante error tras error, empezando por un guión sin nada que ofrecer; plantea la situacion de alguien con diferentes tipos de transtornos mentales y de personalidad, donde solo los ridiculiza en vez de tomarlo en serio. Cae en el mismo ciclo donde tratan a los transtornos como algo de locos, y al… ¿Por qué James? ¿POR QUÉ? No es por ofender a nadie es que así que se nos presenta a los mexicanos ante el que puta humillación, la película desde la primera escena te demuestra que será una estupidez que solo copiará y pegará clichés malos de películas americanas para tratar de dar risa. Fue un desperdicio de elenco. Jaime no es mal actor, Sandra Echeverría tiene la cara, el cuerpo, el porte para ser una actriz de drama perfecta, pero se le desperdicia con este tipo de películas malas o mejor dicho “Comedias-románticas”, actuaciones de Daniel Tovar (Fito en Skimo) que en verdad se esfuerza demasiado es un personaje tan plano como este, y JAMES MASLOW, uno de… Puntos a favor: los efectos visuales (léase, las animaciones), dos o tres minutos de Jaime Camil y Juan Soler en el papel de Luis Miguel edad adulta.
